Clionene Icon

Animated icon of Clionene from the Sanrio series, Pepepepengiin! I've followed the official Twitter for a while because while I don't significantly love the series itself, I've always found this character cute and wanted to make art of her. I decided to attempt some simple pixel art.

Pepepepengiin is about a government of penguins who often debate various silly issues and rarely resolve their problems. The main character is a penguin called Sean, who just says 'pepepe' and avoids serious debate as much as he can (e.g. getting a massage when someone is trying to talk to him about something important). He wants to be rich but wants to avoid struggle (OK he's sort of relatable).

Clionene here is Sean's secretary. According to her bio she is 23 years old and knows many languages, having swam across seas all over the world. She can also fly thanks to her angel wings. She has a cute appearance, innocent purity, and idol-like personality, but she is a bit thickheaded and does not realize she is popular.
